Herbert Hoover is buried on a hill over looking his birth cottage. From the back of the cottage you can look and see the gravesite. You can tour the birth cottage and other buildings that have been built to look like what it did when he grew up. The way it is set up almost reminds me of the Lincoln house in Springfield, IL and how you can walk the same streets that they have redone. President Hoover had started the Boys Club Of America. Over all I thought his was a very nice and library and museum. I am not sure how he got the nickname or how it came about, but on a film they showed in the visitors museum and on a box in the a replica of his fathers blacksmith shop, he was called Bertie. His parents and his son and what looks like his brother is buried in a cemetery about a mile or so from his Presidential Library. Their graves are located towards the back of the cemetery. You can see a farms field from the graves.
